Beth was an instrumental force in helping to bring Teen and Family Services to Austin. TAFS Austin was founded in 2013.
Before coming to TAFS, Beth’s volunteer efforts spanned a variety of nonprofits in both fundraising and event planning. Beth came to Austin from Chicago where she graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
Beth is a fund development professional with extensive experience and expertise in the nonprofit sector and community partnership building. She is also a certified recovery coach. Beth is an avid and passionate advocate of issues related to supporting struggling teens with substance abuse/addiction, with an emphasis on strengthening families.
Her family was touched by a son’s substance abuse, and this personal history is part of what drives her to be a catalyst for change in the lives of at-risk teens.
Beth is also one of our founding board members, and currently serves on the TAFS Board of Directors as Board Secretary. She and Dr. Kelly Cunningham have been married for 29 years and together they have four children.
